Mark Shook
General Manager

Mark has been in the hospitality business for 22 years. Mark started out with a BA in Music Education and made his début in Carnegie Hall New York.

Mark had worked for Private Country Clubs before switching over to the hotel side of Hospitality. Mark worked for John Q Hammons for 10 years before leaving and joining Sagestar Hotels LLC.

Margaret Heggan
Director of Sales

Margaret Heggan has been in the hotel business for 10 years. She started out in housekeeping and the front desk. While working for different hotels, Margaret decided to make the Hospitality business her career. She decided that being a Director Of Sales was the next step in her career.

She enjoys interacting with people and being able to assist them in their needs for hotel rooms or meeting space. She especially enjoys working with reunions, weddings, sporting events and training meetings.

Donald Foshee
Donald started in the hospitality industry in October of 1996 with John Q Hammons Hotels and Resorts, at the Holiday Inn, Springdale AR. In May of 2000, he transferred to the Hampton Inn & Suites in Mesquite TX.

While in Mesquite, Donald obtained the position of Banquet Captain and Lead Engineer. In 2003, Donald decided to go and serve our country in the United States Navy. Upon his completion of tour, he decided to come back to the hospitality business and joined us in Waxahachie as the chief engineer.
