Scarborough Renaissance Festival General Information

Dates. The Festival operates Saturdays and Sundays and Memorial Day Monday. In 2007, it will run from April 7th through May 28th.

Hours. Festival gates open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. with opening ceremonies beginning at 9:45 a.m. and closing ceremonies beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Weather. The Festival is open rain or shine. The resident wizard has proclaimed there will be no rain during the annual Scarborough Renaissance Festival. In the event of some liquid sunshine, “sun” slicks can be purchased at the souvenir shoppes.

Dress/Attire. Dress at the Festival is casual t-shirt, jeans, shorts and picnic-style clothes. Rental costumes are available at Suit Your Fancie (right inside the front gate). Costumes can also be purchased from many of the Festival’s fine craftspeople.  [Top]
